From raw data to information you can steer on
I have worked in data and business intelligence since 2017. My strength is translating complex questions into logical, clear, reliable and scalable data solutions.
My focus is on capturing critical business information in a reusable way, raising data quality and creating insights that business and management can act on directly. I think along about KPIs, processes and data structures, and I take responsibility when a decision has to be made.
I prefer transparent, direct lines. Good communication and mutual trust are the basis of every successful project. And AI? It is only as good as the data underneath it. That is why I start with the foundation.
What I can help you with
- Data platform and warehouse architecture
- On-premises, cloud or somewhere in between: the architecture follows the question. I design, build and maintain data warehouses on the Microsoft stack, from SQL Server to Azure and Fabric.
- Data modelling
- Relational where it must be, graph where it can be. Third normal form, Data Vault, dimensional, Data Mesh or a graph model: I pick the technique that fits the question.
- BI and reporting
- From source to dashboard. Power BI, DAX and SSRS on a self-service reporting layer, so business and management can find answers themselves.
- Data quality and metadata
- Capturing critical business information so it can be reused: definitions, lineage and documentation. Build it once, use it everywhere.
- A data foundation that is ready for AI
- AI is the future for many organisations, and it starts with a data model that is right. I use AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude myself, in my work and in my own projects.
